We're hitting those toddler days. IcI just turned to see Norah using a pencil in my sketchbook and she started to creep toward writing on the wall. I said, "uh uh." and she jumped and looked at me with a cute, but slightly afraid little face. The combination of her knowing she did something wrong and her being mindful of my tone makes me glad! Relaxing with a snack during Auntie Angela's visit in May). Here she is at our Memorial Day "indoor BBQ" - showing off her percussion skills. The next photo is...

Cold days.warm days. During the winter days we have fun playing inside with blocks. Norah has had some fun building some very tall towers ("castles"), then knocking them down. This castle had a particularly fascinating curve in the upper walls. She's an engineer! We also have some interesting conversations while playing. It was warm enough yesterday to go outside and dig in the dirt! She randomly mentioned to me, "when I grow up mommy, I'm going to be a doctoh. Make you feel bettuh! This is a pouting pha...

After it rains we get a lot of worms underneath our patio mat. Mike and Norah like to collect the worms and put them in the soil to help cultivate it. Today there were plenty (PAH-LEN-TEEE) of worms to collect! Grandma Priss sent us a "thank you bouquet" for taking her to the beach! Norah was very excited and wanted to eat it right away. Here are a few shots of our fabulous adventure in Miramar, Destin, and the beautiful cottage communities on Highway 30A. Building sand castles and snoozing on the beach.

Sorry, I am just not a great "keeper of the blog." Since baby brother was born not much has been done to this blog site and I'm considering closing up shop. With the popularity of facebook and the content management of shutterfly, I'm thinking it may be a good idea to nix this page! If I start another blog in the future it will probably be something to feature our hobbies, food passions or business ventures. We'll keep you posted! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A few months old. We had an amazing time in California this year. We were able to spend time with family and old friends without too much stress and NO traffic! That was truly a miracle. The only traffic we really experienced was in the line to get into the Disneyland parking lot. Here are some highlights from the trip, but the bulk of the photos can be seen on our family shutterfly page. Lunch with Mommy's girlfriends. Attempting to have the great grandkids pose together. All girls so far! Disneyland with cousin Makena.

Accident or not, this photo captured Norah telling us how old she turned that day! After church we had a pizza party, opened gifts at Auntie Katie's house, napped, then walked around the fabulously decorated Opryland Hotel. Norah enjoyed the Christmas decorations (their 25th anniversary, which made it "extry" spectacular) and held onto her new Belle doll she received from the Crandalls. Getting ready to go out. I asked her to pose in front of the Christmas tree and she said, "ssur! We brought in some pla...
