Check out the November 9th entry at http:/ quiltingwithragdolls.blogspot.com to view your quilting profile by zodiac sign. My birthday is March 12th and so is my husband's. http://karenscosmos.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 22, 2007. These are our kids! Sunday, December 2, 2007. We exchanged our old Christmas lights for new LED lights - big time energy savers. However we threw out a ton of old lights when we moved - now I wished Id saved them for the exchange - if I'd only known there would be an exchange -ohh well -aren't they pretty! December 1 - Anticipation Begins. I promised my husband that I would wait until Dec 1 before starting to decorate - Its here so I am starting. Yeahh!

http://karenscosmos.blogspot.com/2008/01/happy-new-year-2008.html
Tuesday, January 15, 2008. Happy New Year 2008. I wish everyone a belated but heartfelt Happy New Year - its going to be a year full of changes for our family! Let me explain what a whirlwind has been going on around here. I ve had dental surgery, new glasses and changes in my thyroid medication so my body feels all out of kilter and so does my mind with all the changes to contemplate - but it is also at peace. Peace i wish for everyone. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Favourite Places to Visit.

KarensCosmos: January 2011
http://karensc0sm0s.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 14, 2011. Well I have not posted much lately but I have been busy with family, work and quilting. I am loving that I am actually finishing some quilty projects. The key for me was to make small projects. A little challenge was what I needed so I am going to make each quilt in Simple Contemporary Quilts. I have made two quilts so far - in a mini size. I was so lucky in the last two rounds to recieve fabulous quilts from my partners. They have pride of place in my studio.

Fabric Alchemy: April 2011
http://fabricalchemy.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 16, 2011. Block Project - Block 12 - Nelson's Victory. I finally was able to get to the sewing today. Wednesday was crazy busy and yesterday I was suffering from a case of the blahs. But today I made it back to work on the blocks. I really enjoy making the blocks because I feel like I'm learning so much as I move along. Without further musing on my part, today's block is Nelson's Victory which is block number 6 on page 57 of Jinny Beyer's The quilter's Album of Patchwork Patterns. Thi...

http://fabricalchemy.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 21, 2007. I'm not dead, honestly. I've had a couple of things happening. I certainly didn't mean to worry anyone. Until I can get back posting like normal, here's a preview of my pumpkin block for the swap. Let me know what you think! Monday, October 8, 2007. This is not my month! Anyway, the point of all my moaning is that I will post when I can. Back from the (mostly) dead. I haven't been posting because unfortunately I ended up with bronchitis and was pretty sick. Here's what I did ins...

Fabric Alchemy: July 2009
http://fabricalchemy.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 27, 2009. I had some left over dye and thought I'd try some folding. I folded the fabric and painted the folded edges with the Light Red and dyed the rest of fabric with the Fire Red. I am really happy with the patterning on the fabric, though I'm not sure how much it shows up here. This really makes me want to try shibori. Saturday, July 25, 2009. So it's almost like dyeing is some secret formula you have to discover by your own experimentation. Like the alchemy of old you take the note...
