Quilting a Memory: Hello!
http://quiltingamemory.blogspot.com/2010/06/hello.html
Heirloom Quilts to Last for Generations. Saturday, June 12, 2010. I've been away for awhile! Time has been precious these last few months and between surviving Tax Season, a daughter's graduation and subsequent engagement, in addition to the creation of a new organization, I've completely neglected my quilting facebook friends and my blog. These quilts are freely given with love and tenderness put into every stitch! We meet every month at the Byron Depot and encourage anyone in the area to visit us!

Heirloom Quilts to Last for Generations. Thursday, August 2, 2012. It has certainly been a busy month around the Quilt Castle! Annie is bored to tears and is anxious for her Dad to come home and take her out to the shop! Aside from creating a fun Wedding quilt, I also worked on two new quilts for my sweet grand daughters to snuggle up with on those cool winter evenings this winter. In addition, I have become a Great Aunt (again! Time for a quilt! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Heirloom Quilts to Last for Generations. Thursday, April 4, 2013. I see a road trip in my future! Found this story and thought I would share:. During the 20th century, people lost interest in “taking the cure” by dipping into the cool waters, but Powder Springs has another claim to fame now. It has some 16 quilt squares painted on the sides of various historic buildings in town – a number of which can be seen on a walking tour. Quilting Along The Gorge
Quilting Along The Gorge. Tuesday, July 14, 2015. I think I got carried away cutting out Tumblers for Bonnie Hunter's newest Leader and Enders Challenge, I did use my Accuquilt Baby Go to cut out these gems and I think I slimmed down the scrap fabric situation. In fact I think that I may have enough of just Christmas prints to make a separate Tumbler quilt. Links to this post. Monday, July 6, 2015. Links to this post. Thursday, July 2, 2015. Quilting Along the Grain
Sunday, 30 October 2016. Free Motion Quilting - What I have learnt. As you know I love patchwork. I have made clothes and bags, but patchwork is my passion! It all started back in 1996 when I spotted a patchwork quilt in a magazine and immediately bought a small cheep sewing machine. That fist king size quilt has pride of place in my bedroom and is still used to build dens! Faded and worn, but a den building staple! The birthday quilt designed by mini. My first attempt at free motion quilting! 2016 so fa...

Quilting A Memory
Memorial Quilt: Fallen Soldier. February 24, 2015. I have been working on a memorial quilt for the daughter of a Colonel who lost his life while serving in Iraq. The quilt pattern is a Lone Star – which I think can be a very majestic pattern. There are feather swags between the points of the stars. Each star point is made from the gold ribbed ribbon that went down the side of the dress pants. Posted in Memorial Quilt. Memory Quilt: Toddler Dresses. December 17, 2014. Just to recap these t oddler dresses.
