Too Many Cats: Traveling Through Northern Florida (Mayport NAS, FL)
http://2toomanycats.blogspot.com/2015/05/traveling-through-northern-florida.html
Traveling fulltime in a motorhome with 4 cats. Saturday, May 16, 2015. Traveling Through Northern Florida (Mayport NAS, FL). A little hot and humid, but not so bad to keep us indoors. We stayed almost two weeks at Eglin AFB FamCamp in the Florida Panhandle. We were stationed on this base in the 90s. We explored the whole area from Okaloosa Island to Tyndall AFB where we lived before moving to Eglin (yea, big move that year). It was interesting to see how the areas have grown and changed. This pole marks ...

Chelsea Retro: April 2014
http://chelsearetro.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 17, 2014. Bobbins and Bits Quilted! Finally. This is the first adult sized quilt to come off the Juki TL2200 long arm machine. The amazing thing was the whole thing got quilted without a single thread break. It's all ruler work and was my crash course in using rulers on a longarm. I learned a lot to say the least. It is quilted with invisible thread on top with cotton in the bobbin at 12spi. I used Hobbs 80/20 batting. The quilt measures 66 x 81 which is twin size with about an 8 inch drop.

http://stitchesoftime.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Trying to find stitches of time. I am a busy homeschooling mama of five kiddos. I love to quilt, but am always trying to find stitches of time to do so. Sunday, June 23, 2013. I have pulled out some items to work on for the living room wallhanging. I just found out my dad is coming in a few weeks so I need to try to get the living and dining room painted and wallhangings done so that he can help me hang up some things while he's here. Well, I'm off to pick up the kitchen and run and grab a few groceries&...

I think I'm shrinking! Saturday, January 26, 2013. I'm trying to get back into the swing of things with school. I'm not too motivated to do homework, I'd rather sit and quilt some. Chelsea Retro: The Bloom Quilt
http://chelsearetro.blogspot.com/2015/03/the-bloom-quilt.html
Thursday, March 26, 2015. Here is another new top that just got completed and is in line for the long arm. This is called the Bloom Quilt because of the bright spring flowers in full bloom. It measures 85x95 for a large queen bed. The only challenge remaining is how to quilt it. I'll have to study it for a while before coming up with what feels right. Any idea or suggestions would be welcomed, just leave a comment with your thoughts. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). This Time. (Gordonville, TX).

Chelsea Retro: August 2013
http://chelsearetro.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 30, 2013. The center of the night flight quilt is done and I'm looking for the right batik fabric for an inner border and binding. I couldn't quite get the whole thing in the photo, but you get the idea I'm sure. There are 315 geese flying north then south in 9 columns. I plan to add a narrow inner border of some bold batik like the ones in the geese, followed by a larger outer border in black. Then bind it with the same fabric as the inner border.
