A Brief History of Quality Machining. Quality Machining came into existence in November 1998. However, the shop has been in operation for 25 years: first as the machine shop for HRB Systems Company and most recently for Raytheon Systems, State College division. Raytheon acquired the HRB E-Systems in 1995 and, at that time, the complex was a development and manufacturing facility with 35 employees in the machine shop.
