Anchored at Drakes Bay. Drakes Bay is about 40 miles from Alameda, once we got outside the Golden Gate bridge the wind really dropped off to less than 10 knots. Concept2 has some 9' sculling oars for $490 with carbon shafts, Fat2 blades and traditional basswood handels that would be the ultimate, but probably too long.
