This weekend with my husband and kids out of town I moved my sewing machine in front of the tv and spread fabric all the room. I was basically setting up my “woman cave”. It is comfortable for me to live like this. I can’t leave my sewing machine here when the kids and hubby get home. I’ll just have to enjoy one weekend of sewing and watching the tv at the same time. We love to knit with Noro yarns.

Saturday, December 1, 2012. Mommy jumped on a Black Friday sale and upgraded her camera using saved up TreasureThisPhoto.com earnings. ;). Noah calls it Mommy's "big cam-rah! This was one of the first pictures I took with it, Noah was way too close obviously but his little smile is super cute. :). Tuesday, November 27, 2012. 365 Days Of Nom…. Cooking (and eating) my way around the world, one meal at a time. Day 83 – Egg Custard Tart. March 24, 2013. One of my favourite cakes from the bakers is an egg custard start. The only problem I find is te pastry is always a bit mushy and I definitely prefer pastry to be crisp. So I thought it was high time I tried my ow with homemade pastry. 2 Tbsp Ice Water. Crumb the fats and flour together. Lift to aerate. Make a well in the centre and add the yolk and water. 1 tsp vanilla extract.
