Traveling with Ed and Rachel in the Land of Awes. RVing across North America. December 24, 2009. Merry Christmas 2009 from Indio, California. We have had a wonderful 2009! As much as we loved San Diego and the nearly two years we spent there, we got Hitch Itch and resumed our nomadic RV life last December. We enjoyed shows in Branson, a wholesome counterpart of Las Vegas, Nevada. On the other side of the world, the Muslim nations’ radicals are attempting to remove Little Satan, Israel, from the face of t...

On February 14, 2015. 8220;All sorrow can be borne if you put them in a story or tell a story about them.” Isak Dinesen. He called me about 5 pm on Friday just as I was leaving my office to join some co-workers at the company’s end-of-week cocktail gathering. “I left something for you at the house.” I laughed. “What, a Valentine? Why is that one back? It’s horrible.”. There is a ma...

Actions and Observations of Chris Wiggins. December 06, 2008. Greetings from the Orrery #2! It turns out the swiss guy I mentioned in the last post who helped Eugene with some calculations is the person who commissioned the second orrery (which has just been completed and is en route to Switzerland). His name is Sergio Pinease and after reading my post he wrote me and I thought his note was so incredibly charming that I thought Id share it (with his permission):. I am really amazed what . 0160;once. ...

Actions and Observations of Chris Wiggins. October 26, 2008. View-Master blew my mind as a kid. I thought it was so cool that by viewing two tiny, nearly-identical images- one for each eye- I could experience a hyper-realism that somehow looked more authentic and vivid than the same image appeared using only my own eyeballs. I finally got the opportunity to pick up a 3D camera of my own and have spent the last few months and countless rolls of film experimenting. Oct 26, 2008 3:15:27 PM. August 17, 2008.

Traveling with Ed and Rachel in the Land of Awes. RVing across North America. March 5, 2009. Update No. 31, St. David, Arizona. The most famous and familiar is Old Tucson (. The Bells of St. Mary’s. Twenty wester...
