http://mrsjenschkesclass.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 6, 2010. The New School Year is ALMOST Here! Wow, in just a little over two short weeks we will be starting the 2010-2011 school year! This time of year brings about excitement, a few nervous moments, and lots of anticipation. I always love getting new students (even though it is heart-wrenching to see them leave in May). I wish for each of my students a year filled with challenges and fun! Mrs Jenschke's 3rd Grade. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Thursday, November 11-Game Day.

Mrs. Jenschke's Class: September 2009

Thursday, September 10, 2009. There are many views on the value of homework. Here are some of my views:. 1) it allows a student extra practice. 2) parents can actively take part in their child's learning. 3) it establishes good study habits for later in life. 4) it sets priorities in learning. Sunday, August 30, 2009. Our Charity Project for the Year. Each year I try to incorporate charity work into our learning experience. In the past, classes have donated school supplies to hurricane victims, toiletries to tornado victims, and money to feed hungry children in Honduras. This year I would like to continue the efforts of raising money for the Honduras children. There are. I have attached a few pictures and hope your hearts are pricked with compassion just like mine! Monday, March 1, 2010. Now This is Exciting! Remember those old tape recorders that your elementary teacher would use to record your reading or to play stories from books? Well, step into the 21st century with our class! We now have as many books as we can read recorded for other students. Our GT students have been working with othe. Rs to teach them how to record the books. It has been so exciting in our classroom with all this technology. Mrs Jenschke's 3rd Grade. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Monday, May 11, 2009. I am so proud. Your kids are amazing! I gave them the opportunity to help and they came through like champs. About two weeks ago, I showed the students a blog where a fund raiser would take place to help feed families who literally ate from a dump in Honduras. They were all so touched and wanted to help. I sent a comment to the blog fund raiser that we had $8 and would bring more the next day. That story spread like wildfire! People were so inspired by your. It was so touching to me.
